Indoor Air Quality Surveys
Hutzel & Associates, Inc. provides total indoor air quality consulting services to industrial, commercial, and residential clients. Our surveys are conducted by qualified Industrial Hygienists who have experience in conducting investigations and surveys. We specialize in working with the client to identify possible sources of contamination and develop cost effective solutions to the problem. Our consulting services include:
- Conduct investigations of facilities to identify possible sources of indoor air quality problems
- Conduct measurements of carbon dioxide, temperature, and relative humidity to determine if adequate fresh air is being introduced into the building through the ventilation system
- Evaluate HVAC systems to determine ventilation system cleanliness and operating efficiency
- Perform air monitoring for potential chemical contaminants
- Conduct bioaerosol sampling for count and identification of airborne bacteria and fungi
- Perform wipe and bulk sampling of surfaces and materials to identify potential bacteria and mold contamination
- Develop scopes of work for clean-up and remediation procedures involving contamination
- Conduct project management and sampling during remediation activities
- Conduct post-remediation sampling to document that areas and equipment have been adequately cleaned and/or disinfected
Mr. Hutzel was an Advisory Board Member to the American Indoor Air Quality Council. In addition, he has presented training programs and lectured throughout the Southwest on various indoor air quality issues.
